Relative Date Ranges (Excluding "Today")

We'd love a way to set a relative date range (i.e. last 8 days or current week) but exclude the current day from the range.
Ideas for how to accomplish this:
- A checkbox on the date selector or "last" becomes a drop down and there's also "previous" for "previous 8 days (preceding today)".
- Add the "current date" to a column on one of the transformed tables. That way I could create a filter inside a custom metric that says date is not current date.

Ability to "Exclude today" from Relative Date Filters in the Period Selector

Currently, when using the relative date filter in the period selector (e.g., "Last 30 days"), the selection always includes today's date. However, in cases where today's data is unavailable, this requires manual adjustment to exclude today's date each time.
We’d like to request the ability to customize the logic of the relative date filters. Specifically, an option to automatically exclude today's date from relative ranges would be highly beneficial. This would save time and reduce manual adjustments for users who rely on relative filters but do not yet have complete data for the current day.

If you see my dashboard titled "daily trends", I'm trying to create some simple views that show performance for the past 7 days. However, it would be cool to only look at completed days. Why? So that we have a fair comparison to the prior time period in the overall line.
