Pivot tables are now available.
Unlike standard reports that list one column per metric or dimension, Pivot Tables focus on a single metric and restructure the layout across two axes, ideal for uncovering trends over time or across categories. Choose how your breakdowns appear in rows and columns, and sort them to surface the clearest insights.
Ways To Use It:
📅 Cohorts Made Simple: Pivot sales or repurchase rates by months since first order or signup week to track repeat behavior over time.
📊 Time vs Category: Break down product performance or conversions by month and product category in one grid.
🧠 Segment Analysis: Compare AOV or conversion rates across customer types (e.g., new vs returning) and marketing channels.
🌍 Geographic Growth: View signups or revenue by quarter and country/region, ideal for international brands.
To enable pivot mode, click the "Show Pivot Settings" icon at the top-right when editing a table.

I'd like the ability to structure the data tables in different ways and with different hierarchies.
For instance, if I pull orders and want to cut by channel and by week, it would be nice to have the ability to put one breakdown as a row and one as a column to be able to compare each the channel trends across weeks more easily.
Similarly, it would be nice to be able to structure the hierarchy of breakdown groupings. For example, if I cut by channel and device, it would be nice to have a hierarchical sort by channel (alphabetical descending) and then device (alphabetical descending) to have more standard organization and make comparisons across channels easier. This goes with the first suggestion as well.
At the moment, to achieve this, I download the data and then upload to Google Sheets to manipulate into a better visualization. Having this within Polar would save time.
